Meh! Does the forum have to ALWAYS be lively! It is the middle of what passes for summer round here at the moment so I expect that most sane people are out enjoying the sunshine. Fair play I say. ThumbsUp

after working all day in 30deg C (85F) heat and a few beers on completion, the computer doesn't have any appeal.
Glad I'm doing this before summer comes

Not race speck just MOTd and if used fairly regularly containing electricity !
About as much as I can hope for at the moment.
To be honest I MOTd it as I was planning to sell it and get a 2000ish Mercedes CLK 320 but then I drove the '44 for a bit and remembered how much I like it and tryed a CLK and they don't feel special if you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean. I drive a Benz myself and while good for mile munching they lack "something."
Stick with the Porka. ThumbsUp  Surprised you can't afford both anyway, what with all that cash you must be saving with free road tax and bugger all diesel in that Panda! Laughing

Ok update time I presently run a Skoda Citigo it's only 1.0 but its not nearly as rubbish as you would expect.
We popped over to Bruges for a city break last week on the way back on Thursday we did 298 miles and averaged 60.5 mpg at a steady motorway speed not to shabby for a petrol.

Now that is impressive! Cool I've not come across the Citigo before, looks like the standard cheap, economical no frills micro-car. I like Skoda's, I have a secret hankering for a Yeti.

Yeh the citigo is a small city car it's the same as the vw up and seat mii. It is amazing how civilised little cars are these days mine has a/c ,heated seats , sat nav,Bluetooth even dinky little alloy wheels all for less then £10k.
You can even drive it around Europe a bit of you must.
As usual I have been testing it a bit and have done 20k miles in the last 8 months with no trouble.

Hope you are all well and enjoying your toys. I still have the Cab in storage and the Turbo is still not sold so I haven't been able to buy anything here, although have seen lots of classics here :-)
