They've lost it.

Those wheels and tyres are ideal for offroading innocent

The *bottom* end is a Honda Civic.

The front end looks like an angry Cayenne.

Please put an end to this madness and keep on designing beautiful sports cars that I cannot afford.

Definitely a Cayenne looky likey .... which is a very bad thing. Whether it is a departure I'm not so sure ... didn't they start making tractors or something? Laughing

True enough they did.
Ferruccio Lamborghini made his fortune making tractors and treated himself to a Ferrari Dino with his fortune. Legend has it that when he met Enzo Ferrari and suggested some improvements for the car Enzo had a hissy fit and said something along the lines of "don't tell me how to my job, you will never know anything about making sports cars, so stick to making tractors." (I'm paraphrasing a tad there!) Lamborghini promptly went off and made the Miura just to spite him.

Oh ... if only I knew how to spite people as well as that!! Happened to catch the start of the Italian Job at the weekend ... 3 minutes of auto porn for sure! Mind you the Dino is a top 10 car too for sure and one of few Ferraris I could give a hoot about (250 GTO excluded of course!).

In fairness though the LM was designed for the military so styling possibly wasn't foremost in the design brief.
For what it's worth, I reckon the LM is a damned sexy bit of kit. Beats the hell out of the Hummer anyhoo.
