2013 show season

Gunna get this done earlier so it gives the maximum time for people to work out what thier doing and get thier names down and also to avoid this years distaster even tho most shows were cancelled in the end due to the weather.

Biggest problem i got is i dont know where everyone lives and the last few years, most shows were mainly around the Midlands area which makes it expensive for some people to make it to shows.

What im asking this year, is for members to suggest shows for us to attend, the show that gets the most votes for that month will be booked.

So get your thinking caps on and lets have a massive year in 2013

P.S. Dont forget - it dont matter what car you bring or the condition, its all about getting the most amount of people together to talk cars and take the mick out of what you do drive!!
( normally me as my cars too yellow)

Would be ncie if one could be arranged say around Lancs/Yorks area, I would say Raby Castle as they have 2 a year and its a great show, but it is only 40 miles from me so saying something in Yorks/Lancs kind of evens it up for everyone

Don't get time to do anything these days. This new job is taking all my time up.

Right, back from 2 weeks in Spain and am going to start pushing this now.
So start thinking and lets have a good couple of shows next year ( hopefully the rain buggers off too!)

It looks to be a nice venue but it's a 600 mile round trip, would cost me more than £160 in fuel alone and take 7 hours each way so I'll leave that one for the Northern contingent.

Make sure there's enough space on our stand at shows for a coach!! have to call in at shows as passing through.lol Will be at Sandwell in the coach next year... that will be fun.

Oh I don't know ... enjoyed two holidays there in 1976 & 1977. Ah, Pontins ... how I loved the paddle boats

How about the Cholmondley Festival? I'm hearing good things, but again it may be a tad too far North for most.

No. Absolutely not. No way in hell. Etc.

I don't know who you're hearing "good things" from, I can only presume the event's publicity team.

I was there last last year and it was appalling. An absolute disaster of a show where all the car clubs were treated with utter contempt by the organisers. I will never take my car to Cholmondeley again.

I heard from a couple of people that visited the last show. Said they had a whale of a time.
