Your so funny, you ever thought of a career on the stage?
Re: Bubble & Kick Racing - Donington Track Day 13th March 2011
Hi guys,
Glad you all enjoyed yourselves yesterday. It was a really great day for us, although a little bit too long! Nice to see all the pics too. If you ever want to arrange another trip in future they just give us a shout.

Cheers guys, I have no doubt that we will take you up on that in the future. Maybe somewhere a little further South for you guys though!

Re: Bubble & Kick Racing - Donington Track Day 13th March 2011
Castle combe as its only 30 minds from home
will be up for next time
will be up for next time
Re: Bubble & Kick Racing - Donington Track Day 13th March 2011
I could live with Bedford. Cadwell is too far North and waaaay out in the sticks so not good for most people. Must admit, I'm not keen on Snet myself, but who knows. Castle Combe is just too far for an old man like me to make a 7.30am start I'm afraid, so I'd probably give that one a miss! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Bubble & Kick Racing - Donington Track Day 13th March 2011
Circuit days and one or two others deff do Mallory, so its a question of whether they will accomodate B&K in their (our!) needs.
In fairness, Donington was a hell of a long day for Nico and Andrew and Mallory wouldn't be much better, so the thinking was that maybe somewhere further south would help by knocking a couple of hours off their journey.
Have to agree with Rob, in terms of technical demands and safety, you will struggle to beat Bedford.

Haha, don't worry about us! We much prefer to be out on track and at the circuit rather than stuck in wet old Essex!
We will soon have finished our next instruction car, a BMW Mini that may not be as fast in a straight line as the Megane but is basically a road going race car. It has a roll cage, full harnesses and bucket seats but also has the dual control pedals!

only thing im worried about is getting my fat ass in the bucket seats - might need to put a arm chair in instead!!

Mini sounds interesting. Just out of interest, did Nico actually have to use that extra pedal with anyone on Sunday?

Ah Pete you make me laugh sometimes
Croft!!!
But you know what it is so good to see cars racing around donny again after what we saw just 14 months ago not knowing then if the track would ever be used again.
And I know its a bit anal but isn't that a red 944 going past at the beginning of the MX5 video? I notice he never catches it

Lolz! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It was actually a Toofah with a CGT kit on it. Arrived on a trailer and was smoking like a bugger.
Sunday was the first time that cars have used Melbourne loop since before the closure too, very unusual for a track day event to be allowed the honour of the full GP circuit.

I'm sure there will be another opportunity before we are much older. It was just too much fun to not do it again.

If the Essex boys don't mind Traveling Oulton Park is awesome,
I could put them up overnight in my Caravan.

Erm........ no comment!
No, he didn't use it on anyone. Although he did consider it with me on the way back!
