Put my name down for all of them Dave.
Shugborough is interesting, visited the Hall once or twice but didn't know they did a car show. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Events For 2010
Sorry Pete but that post has been driving me mad [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] just couldn't help tidying it up so I knew who said what [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And I know this is going over old ground and who really cares now but...
Have you looked over at the other side, talk about trying to run before they walk, there's nothing regionally sorted out other than the Ace Cafe which isn't even a club event.
And the loons are talking about the NEC.... in November!!
There's no way they could afford as a club to have a pitch and unless everyone now has concours cars they'd be the laughing stock.
I mean hell we've only been here a few short weeks and we've already had our 1st offical club meet [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Roll on the next one I say [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] 32nd Sandwell Show here we come

Thanks Paul. I was just too lazy to do it! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Pitch at the NEC is free .......... but you have to buy the carpet from them. Ask Rob about costs, he looked into it from a different angle a while ago.

Re: Events For 2010
Just been on the other side for the first time in weeks (got to sort out the finance bit). Had a little look around ..... seems a bit odd! Typical fun banter:-
Is there going to be a National this year, and when and where is it likely to be?
There certainly is, we've identified a date and location and we're in the process of getting everything organised. Updates to follow soon!
Just to clarify. Only club members cars will be permitted on the stand except for sponsors vehicles.
If you don't soon tell us where and when it is there will be nobody there [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
If it had been sorted, as stated above then the time and place would have been posted. Seems to be a lot of hot air in this club.
Customer service .... can't beat it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Sorry? Who are you?!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I've only visited twice since I stepped down and I have to say that there does seem to be a definite lack of direction.

I saw that yesterday. Someone has said they have booked to take there Datsun &, as it's "not allowed" on their Club Stand they have booked a place themselves...how, if no one knows where & when it is??? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Re: Events For 2010
Steve, saw your post asking them to sort out the Accounts / Registered Address / Bank Account / Directors / etc.
You're not holding out too much hope that it will be sorted before the end of March are you?

Re: Events For 2010
Well Pete, given that I am the only person in the world who has access to their bank accounts you'd think it might be a priority [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I had thought someone might have asked before now!
By the way the Datsun owner is Jainey .... I don't think you crossed over with her but the rest of us certainly did ... banning her from the stand might have been the only sensible decision they have made so far [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Events For 2010
in the Golf on its winter tyres, yes. No problem. In the Porsche, errr... no thanks.
Re: Events For 2010
Ah, but you missed our 'summer' outing to Kendal ... 8 frozen and soaked people huddled under a gazebo
Re: Events For 2010
Sounds lovley... I'll add it to next years diary. Oh, sorry, there's an entry there already it says "washing my hair".
