OK i went to the forum the other day as i now have another 924. Looking for a couple of parts. Went all friendly like.. but received this email from them. Now as most on here would know i help start that club and worked really hard to build the club up. but got this reply.

Rob,
After a discussion of the committee members it has been decided that it is
not in the club's best interest to allow you to post on the forum - sorry.

Regards
Ian.

What they scared of.. the truth about all the lies coming out from when i resigned...

As a club dave they still have not given me an offical reason why i'm banned. If you think about all the unpaid work i did to get that club off the ground. no one else is banned. And i see a few from here have gone back over there and joined. I was only looking to see if anyone had a wing i could buy.

Feeling for you. Presume you want to go there to talk about Porsche's and not past events!?!

Anyhow, and more importantly, what have you bought?

I'm still waiting for radiator, hoses and a few parts I've sent for powder coating.

I was thinking of joining "the other side" as well as this forum but only because there seemed to be nobody around when I came back. That seems to have changed this week -- I can't talk after disappearing for months while getting that bloody head rebuilt.

If you want, I'm happy to join the other forum and share login with you? That way you can get your parts in peace.

Thanks mate. No they can keep their club and forum. If it was not for me they would not even have a club. It's always the same here, winter months it goes very qt. always pics up when the sun comes out and everyone starts messing with there cars again. We started this forum to not be a Club, they get to political. This is just about fun and friendly. I've got another 924 n/a need a couple of bits. The front wing as a bad dink but usable. Need a fuel relay. Mines Knackered and a couple of other things which are on their way to me as we speak.

Well it certainly is friendly on here and I thank everyone for that (and also for putting up with my stupid questions).

I went through the "I'll never be able to finish this" ... to the "Well I've got it apart" ... and now the "bugger me, its going back together" stage.

I dread turning the key the first time. That is weeks away, so I'll shut up now.

Be nice to see some pics Rob when time permits!

I just do an hour here and there myself. Took ages to get the cylinder head back and then get the motivation to open the garage door. I just hope it is all worth it. I've probably paid as much in parts as I paid for the car, but it keeps me happy and I'm learning a lot.

I am a member here and on the other club. However, as I told the committee, I'm staying neutral.

they are human, start a reply with,

"I'm not here to cause any problems, I'm just an enthusiast who wishes to keep his car looking good and on the road. Let the club and myself give the past a rest an start anew."

a bit of contrition goes a long way.

Been around myself since Martin started the other club and there was a lot of sh*t going on when you left there. I think tempers got in the way of reason. (on both sides)

We are passionate about our cars, and emotions sometimes rise to the surface.

I only joined the dark side as it was getting silly quite on here.
Am really hoping that we get more members and bring the club back to its former glory!
Too many good people on here to close down.
Got to get a couple of shows in this year aswell - hopefully, with more members that will happen.

Tried that one in person at the NEC show last year Ozzie. spoke to scm, Rich H and Finbarr. No problems at all. Had a good chat. Only went on the site because i'm after a few parts for the new porka. after a clearing of the air last year did not think i would get this reaction to be honest. Did not want to cause problems just after a few parts for the 924. best place would be the owners club. But i still do not have an offical reason why i'm banned.
