think i may have a problem with it now
when going above 50 in top gear, u put your foot down just to maintan the speed and it sounds like it revving up
take ur foot off and it stops or put it down a bit harder and it starts to pick up
only when its crusing that it does it - poss problem???

Re: Hotel for Sat Night
Sorry forgot it is an auto, have you checked the fluid level also the internal filter might need a clean or a cable adjustment.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Hotel for Sat Night
Fluid would be the first thing I'd look at as Dave has said.
Not sure what the setup is for changing the filter on the 2.0l but it can't be that different to the S.
Just take care when dropping the pan and make sure its super clean when you put it back.

Re: Hotel for Sat Night
No checking the level and refilling is easy via the filler cap.
Dropping the gearbox panis only required if you are wanting to change the filter thats in the gearbox, can get blocked over time.

Look under the rear of the car there is what looks like a small plastic bottle it might have a metal shield in front of it clean all the gunk off it and check the level if it needs topping up unscrew the top and fill with Dextron ll atf or equivalent do not use other fluid.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
