The white S
What the heck may as well post about mine as well, I'll copy the Projects thread across tomorrow when I have a spare hour
But for now..
Bought this 1988 S after a tip off from Rob nearly 2 years ago, was for sale just 3 miles from my home village, drove past the house it was at and thought what the hell.
Got it for £220 as a non-runner that had been laid up for 6 months after a rattling started.
The PO had charged the battery but it would start, but still I thought, what the hell I can break it for more than I paid for it.
Swapped the battery and it started 1st time Expected it was the battery but I wasn;t telling the seller that!!
Gearbox and Damper on the flywheel (this is what was causing the knocking) had issues, and the ref. sensor was screwed, drove it for a few months til the gearbox gave out, then waited over 12 months to find a replacement, in 2 months its gone from a non-runner to my daily drive, back on the road now, still some work to do but its great to be back behiond the wheel again.
This was taken just after I first got it parked at the back of Alnwick Golf Club Clubhouse with the 18th in the background.
Just waiting for better weather so I can take some better pics

Just off the phone so need to get the real camera out this weekend, if the calendar's turn up before Saturday I'm going to have a run out to Jedburgh on Saturday and drop Darren's calendar of while I'm there.
If the weathers good I'll take the camera with me and try to get some decent pics

Yeah its starting to come together at last
Been a long while coming and there's still a little way to go, first things the speedo & the front join from the downpipe to the middle box is blowing but in all honesty it was a bit of a paste bodge to get it through, need to get the right adaptor pipe

It was going dark Cosmetically there's still a way to go if I'm honest, a full respray would help a lot, but I could buy another car with that kind of money
But driving it again is making me very happy
