Hello front engined porsche owners
Hello,
Is this still a front engined Porsche community or have the two more recent models got the chop?

Hello Mark3! Welcome along.
It is still all encompassing, but we don't seem to have much interest from owners of newer models. Of course anyone (Porsche owner or not) is most welcome here but our core membership tend to have one of the 4 models listed above.
What do you drive?

Indeed I do, metallic red S2 - I'm sure many of you have seen it before at Sandwell last year or the Haynes meet with the Porsche 924 Owners Club. I thought I'd sign up as a 'non-premium' member here. I keep eyeing up 928s and if I ever find myself a garage big enough for one I'll need a lot of tech help to keep it on the road Although if we keep getting 'proper' winters again and the country deals with the snow as badly as it did this year a Cayenne might be a better bet

From what I've read you won't beat one round a track on a wet day! Prices are coming down fast enough and I'm already used to 20mpg Sure it's not the prettiest car, but some people don't like the wedge that is the 924! As as for claims it's just a VW, well I guess we don't go there

Welcome Mark
Even if it'd been badged a VW it would have still be Porsche designed, and while the Scirroco is a nice car its nowhere near the car they nearly had !!
VW's loss, Porsche gain
