my 924
sorry guys still no pics yet still waiting for my mate to get his recovery truck fixed then i can get her over to his garage an start work.
anyway let tell you a bit about her i bought her for £200 (with a private plate worth about tht A924 FEC) from a guy i work with, he got her as a project about a year ago but shes been sat in a garage with nothing being done he was gonna scrap her which is where i stepped in.
Ive always wanted a 944 so thought this would be the next best thing, mechanicly shes sound and only really needs some new brake pads an maybe some discs and a good service as shes sat so long.
The only thing that really needs some attention is the body shes red but as usual the paints all faded. the sills could do with being changed there's nothing wrong with 1 of them its just more a cosmetic thing as currently its a bit patchy from previous repairs and the other one has a hole in it but this seems to be the only rot on the car.
The interior needs TLC the dash has cracks in all the usual places and the seats are split along the seems.
So busy trying to source a cheap interior if i cant find one ill just get it recovered.
Also my mate knows someone with a small block Chevy v8 so might see about trying to put that into her well thts my 924 hopefully i can get some pics up soon

Re: my 924
Looking forward to those pics.
Sills can be bought for £10 each from Lye Panels, but you have to collect. Can maybe sort something out between us if you want some.
Try borrowing a buffer and get some farecla G3 on the paint, you'd be surprised what can be rstored. Rob has somepictures of a red one that he did somewhere, its really quite an eye opener. It can be done by hand, but its bloody hard work!
Sounds like a bit of a bargain all told.

Ha ha, back when I lived in Feurteventura in the mid 90's this was the ferry that made the daily crossings to Lanzarote.
Now image being in open water with the bow of that boat completely under water and that was a bad day
