Thought that'd grab your attention! Razz

I spent rather too much time fannying around yesterday trying to work out why the horn on my '44 won't honk. Pulling fuses, peering in the engine bay tugging at wires etc.

Eventually I discovered the cause. The immobiliser was armed. Is it "normal" for an immobiliser to disable the horn on these things? Question

That's a good question.

The label in the boot reckons the car was delivered with option code

M533 ANTI-THEFT DEVICE

but I also have paperwork for a Cobra 7928/26/HF.

Thats the problem most aftermarket immobilisers tend to play up on our cars, so most seem to get removed.Odd horny business Carservice
