INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
Hello Forum Users!
Just a quick hello from the guys here at Bubble & Kick Racing! Hopefully some of you we have met already at various shows such as Autosport 2010 and the Save Donington Parade.
This season has been action packed as its seen us running a Clio Cup Car, and M3 in Britcar amongst others! Our 944 race car is currently being fitted with an awesome 944 turbo engine and should be on track again early 2011!
The team are heading to a second, larger workshop within the next few months in Basildon, Essex. This new workshop will include a showroom in which all sorts of goodies will be displayed! As those who know us best will tell you are roots lie heavily with early (not real) Porsche's! Therefore we are hoping to offer all you members with excellent discounts and group purchase offers on items such as GAZ Gold suspension units, POWERFLEX poly bushes and much more!
More details will follow shortly in the relevant sections!
Meanwhile if we can help in any other way- set up queries? track day issues? suspension and alignment tips and secrets, then feel free to give us a shout!
We look forward to getting to know you all much better!

Yes those are two of our many cars which we brought a long to Donington! The 924 has numerous podium finishes in the BRSCC Porsche Championship- hence its beaten up condition!
The 944 is the race car which is having the 2.5 turbo race engine fitted as we speak, all being well it will be seen it Britcar 2011 and MSV's Track Day Trophy! Some of you may have even scribbled your names on the 944!
This season we were looking after an e36 BMW M3, sadly was not at the Donington race no!
Excellent action shots there!

Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
Well then we should talk! How bad is yours? inside and out need doing? Colour thoughts?
Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
at the moment its a ferrarie medino yellow
Got a couple of small dents, lots of stone chips and a couple of scratches
Just the outside to do as i got it retrimed last year along with the wheels refurbed and the rocker cover, cam cover and hubs powder coated also
couple of pics in the gallery
Just want the outside smarted up and was thinking of a fine metal flake to make it sparkle at shows

Listen to the Monkey he speaks the truth! Welcome guys, good to have you along.
FERRARI colours should be a bit of speciality for B&K I reckon what with the name being popular!

Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
Oh yeah, out of interest...
One of the friendly guys who we met from this club at Donington a fair few months back was explaining to us in a very hilarious manner how he smashed up a 924 on a trip to the ring!
For our own reference...
1) Who was he?
2)Whats his username (so we can keep an eye on him)
3)Was it a 924 or 944?
4)MOST IMPORTANTLY- who has pictures?

Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
What Gareth has said ^^^
Pete hasn't been around for a while, but he does have some heavy old work/personal commitments so he does pop by every now and again.
But as said the car still lives after its fight with the Arnco and is being rebuild by members in preperation for track day outings in 2011/12.
I thought I had a picture, but I always get mixed up between Helga & Gladys, guys which one is this.
I think this is Helga not Gladys.....

Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
That one is Helga with the body kit, now residing up your neck of the woods somewhere I believe Paul.
Gladys was a very clean 1985 924 N/A in Guards Red. I'm not aware of any photographic evidence to be honest, Pete managed to sidestep that very nicely! The car came out of the event quite well to be fair, it drove home to Blighty all the way from the 'ring. It just has some rather fetching armco shaped panelwork along the nearside!
Shame really as it was a very clean car that Pete had spent a lot of time, money and effort getting right.

Re: INTRO: Bubble & Kick Racing
Thought it was, was more like a holiday for it down Brum.
Pete bought the car in Bylth then sold it back to someone else in the NE Darlington way IIRC
