car shows int north

There are 2 classic car shows in the north in July, 3rd is at Corbridge, 10th is at Saltburn, anybody interested enough for a group booking, i suspect time is of the essence so if a seasoned "organiser" can take up the reigns that would be great, if not i will try , in my bumbling way to organise a "presence", in other words " HELP "

applications for entries have to be in by 13th june !!!

I'll be up for Saltburn, as bizarrely I have a connection to it, nothing to do with me but thats where I bought the '44 from last April

If I'm free Stan I'll have a run over to Corbridge anyway, I think PCGB normally have a stand there so there'll be no shortage of Porkas

we could get in as entrants if we can tag on with the posh porkas, or get entry passes for just us scummers , i can do it on line let me know reg n model of car and i will see what i can sort, this is for corbridge by the way !

Saltburn is in Yorkshire and nowt to do with smoggies or chimp chokers !

They're a bit racist in the Midlands Stan, think that anything North of York is a Smoggie until you get to the Borders

Have to say though, what started this was that a few years ago we used to have a locator that showed where you were in the UK.
For whatever reason it showed me as being in Hartlepool and I was then accused of being a Monkey Hanger / Smoggie as a joke but its kind of stuck

i stand corrected, it is in cleveland, i must be thinking pre 74, when the new county boundarys were formed, ie when m/bro was still in yorkshire, so saltburn may/ may not have been, you fekkin smogmonster !

Have sent an email to organiser of Corbridge show requesting 2 entry passes, 1 for me and 1 for mav 666, have also emailed organiser of Saltburn show to see what the cut off date is for entries and also enquiring to see what information they need, no reply yet !

Top stuff, Saltburn would be a good one as its not too far north.

Have had a reply from Ken Wood , organiser for Corbridge show, 2 passes will be issued via email to me about a week before the show
