From French clutter to Italian rust bucket. Steve you are really going downwards in my estimations (not that its worth that much, my estimations i mean not your new car)!
Re: Meet Scarlet!
She's not up to that Andy .... has averaged 1,500 miles per year for the last 17 years with some of those only a few hundred. Bit of a safe shakedown needed not too far from home for a bit I reckon!

Re: Meet Scarlet!
Maybe ... but as I have just spent the last two hours trying to work out why she wouldn't start only to find the braided fuel lines have more holes than a swiss cheese!!!
Re: Meet Scarlet!
Just a low volume pump on these as it has a carb so no great gush of fuel to give the game away .... just a quiet seep!

Re: Meet Scarlet!
Ha ha ... the blue 924 had three different sized tyres on it and that had an MOT too! I've noticed they only pay attention to your own cars and never ones you have just bought
Re: Meet Scarlet!
Always had a soft spot for the X1/9, looks in cracking nick though Steve despite what will no doubt be a few teething problems with such low milage every year, but if its been garage then at least it won't have had much exposure to the elements which on a 70's Italian made car is a VERY good thing
