Been looking at buying something for a while, got a little confused one weekend and started a collection. 924 turbo and a 928s4 to start with. Be asking for help shortly....

Not just a toofah but a turbo. Thats doubley greedy

The '24 Turbo looks very nice.

Excellent! If ever a car was made for Design 90's it was the 928. Toofah especially looks very clean.

hello from me i just echo what everyone else has been saying 2 very nice cars

thanks guys stripping the 924 down for a closer look this weekend needs some engine work and i get a feeling that clean outside hides rot, just doesn't feel as clean as it looks. Do they rot underneath much?

mine are very clean underneath, get a bit of surface rust on the jacking points that i sort out every couple of years all so

They're very well sealed underneath friom the factory, basically like a very thick coating of seam sealer, painted beyond that and galvanised so they very rarely rot underneath.

Water ingressing from a rotten battery tray or blocked sunroof drains can cause trouble but you'd have wet carpets giving a tell tale sign of that.
Other than that check the sills and bottom of the inner wings, other than that they're pretty rust proof
