HI Folks

Just purchased a 924s on a 1986 C plate - showing 50000 miles and interior and History indicates this to be correct. Steering extremely heavy. Daft question but anybody know if this should have power steering.

Hope I have many and varied discussions with you all over the years and look forward to contributing as time goes on and I buod up some knowledge

Apologies If I have posted incorrectly here

Regards

Welcome along! Newbie Posting Icon_biggrin

As Gareth says, with it being an early one the power steering was optional. My n/a has no power steering and the steering is very heavy. Quite usual on them.

Ah you know him so well Pete Newbie Posting Icon_razz

Welcome along though, have a look under the bonnet you'd see a ZF bottle to the left of the dizzy if it has PS. As its been said early didn't always have it.
Saying that mines a very late one and it doesn't have a sunroof (or air con) but by then they all had PS.

As Mav said, look for brown bottle (& I don't mean the Viz caracter Newbie Posting Icon_biggrin ), if you've got that, you've got PAS.
