thats a bit of a extreme way of removing an engine, i dont think it will catch on

I doubt it will but it the easiest way ive ever removed an engine and box from a 944 !!.Here is a quick pic of what the car looked like before hand

The car didnt look to bad but was a complete death trap as had a red back end welded into it and all the sills and rear 1/4's were made up of filler,i'll post soem pic's up later to show just how bad its was.

Nop i'm not ,it actually worked out better as i had to chop the roof off anyway(reason i bought the car)and the guy lending me the engine hoist let me down and it was much easier to remove the back axle and box when the back half was upside down !!Lord Chris wrote:Are you insane? why would you do that

Yep, that why I kept quite John told me the story of that one yesterday!
