tomorrow they will be ready, i will pick them up on tuesday.
in the meantime the GT skirts arrived.
i also recieved my new front wings(unmolested 944 units), a thicker rear sway bar(front is 968CS)
going to try to swap the calipers and install the front coilovers this week...fingers crossed as its a big job and requires good weather.

the guy didnt do such a good job...i got them back full of blast powder on the threads...i have to clean them now...but they look nice.

Frustrating when you expect a better finish, but they do look great

test-fitted the coilovers the other day...oh yea ! cant wait to take some photos.

looking for coilovers for the rear...if anybody knows of a pair...i'm interested.

had a nice day at the garage today...aldough the weather was utter *poo*..i managed to install the new front suspension and brakes...but no pics as it was raining cats and dogs.

for those following and interested...i'm running the following gear:

rears: S2 late offset trailing arms with M030 calipers (soon to come: coilovers)
fronts: early offset steel trailing arms with late spindles and hubs, M030 brakes and coilovers.

i dropped the fronts quite a bit...and the M030 calipers really put on a show...it looks mad cant wait for the good weather to come so i can take it out and get some hi-rez pics done.

Until then...please notice the PHAT CGT behind and now..due to the removal of the rieger side skirts and the addition of the FG copy of the original CGT skirts, the PHAT front end too. Man these cars are sexy !




PS: in case some are wondering why my car i s yellow in the second picture...its not..i'm changing the front wings as the old ones were modified for the jap-crap front spoiler.

yours was a really nice car...i never understood why you sold it.

i'm never selling this one....great looking..never left me stranded...great power...great handling...acceptable taxes...going to fit it with an AC unit this summer and then it will be simply perfect.

back from the garage, didnt manage to bleed the brake system as i planed(no buddy to help)..however i managed to install the 968 front anti-sway bar.
i also cut/test-fit the 951 FG front bumper.

i'm thinking....much better than the old bumper

got some stuff sorted...but the car is not ready yet.
needs paint...going to take it to the paintshop on wenesday, hopefully they'll have it done by the end of the week.

still needs AF tuning and some checking and driving before i can drive her to holiday.

The car works nicely ! just did my summer holiday with it.
Drove ~3700km, mainly in Germany.
I visited some friends around Germany.
Overall fuel consumption 8.5L/100km
Med speed 120km/h
Max speed 260km/h yepp...took it to 6000 rpm in fifth following a 2012 911 Carrera S. i must say...i did not expect the 924 to keep up that closely

Yes, the car has now a clean factory look. no more aftermarket stuff. i'm happy with the new look and this is how it will be from now on.

I adjusted the tappets after i came back from Germany since the head was rebuilt right before.
Boy oh boy its tailhappy and it roars while chewing on the rear tires then grip comes and its startrek jump mode
i'll need new rear tires soon
