its a 2.4 jtd alfa 156 , yep a oil burner , but it nocks 150 bhp out and douse 45 mpg , so not all bad any way hears some pics the big spoilers to make it easyer to push when it breaks down lol

Nearly bought a petrol one myself a few weeks ago until I saw the fuel economy! Ended up with an Audi A4 instead.

Must admit i do like the older alfa's
can pick a 156 up for under a grand now and the fronteras in for an mot in august, if it fails ill be poss looking at one of these

ye , it goes to show that oil burners dont have to be slow ,its all made good by the Garrett turbocharger with
variable geometry turbine that helps improve
power deliver , or im my case a lead right foot :-) , when i change it i will replace it with another one ,

they might be cheaper than a classic. the 1st modern spiders produced in Europe, '95 onwards, are now very cheap
