Well only just arrived home and have bought a 1985 black 944,to be quite honest I bought it for the 16" 944 turbo alloys, which I wanted for my white 944 which I stole the fuch,s off,but the turbo teledials seem to go for £400 to £500 without tyres, and this one was only a little bit more, seems to be cheaper to buy a whole car with the alloys you want than to buy them on there own, anyway the car was quite local and the guy delivered it for free, nice guy.anyway it turned out to be a real nice car, with a totally uncracked unmarked new looking old style dash,12 months MOT and 6 months tax,

Yes lol, when I buy them for bits they seem always to be a hell of a lot nicer, well still looking for a set of alloys for my white 944,to be very honest the pre ovel dash 944s are a really good buy,I know people will not all agree, but I have owned most 70s 80s and 90s porsches and the older style 944s are hard to beat, cheap to buy,Cost me around £120 to insure, easy to work on,parts are easy to get hold of and are cheap, they seem to have more go and with a quick responce throttle cam and a good carbon fiber cold air induction kit are more than fast enough,944 turbo,s 911s,928s are really a total waste if you live hear in cornwall,to many lanes and OAP,s

Quick response throttle cam makes a unbelieveable difference, there was one fitted to the '44 I bought and it really does makes a difference.
That one looks in really good condition there Rich

yes its a good looking car and those porsche 944 turbo alloys look stunning, amazing how much better they look then normal teledials, well have 8 porsches now,but am planning on selling all my 924s(4)my first love is the 944,just think they are stunning looking cars.Yes the throttle responce cam makes a big difference, and as I said a good carbon fiber induction kit plumbed in to force cold air from the outside is almost like turbo charging(almost)

yes going to sell all my 924s,few things to finish on the CGT,mot and tax, would not have a clue what to sell it for as its gone way over budget and cost £1000s,not to mention more hours than I have ever put into my cars, but time to move on,and just want to concentrate on 944s
