Just had a look on the DVLA site and the kid who bought my S has taxed it for 12 months so thats a good sign, and it was as about the same condition as yours when I started on it

I only paid £350 for mine ... taxed and with 8 months MOT

£225 for the S thanks to a tip off from Rob, and I think it was £250 for the one before that, but they were both auto's so they're always cheaper

as u say - completely different hence why it gets some attention at shows - think its more " what the **** is that meant to be!!!"

Our cars are cheep enough to personalise and still be fun. I love to see individual cars be they Jons, Fils, or yours. At shows I much prefer them to concourse.
I'd only sell if I wanted to do a new project...

Agree with that - want to get mine upto concourse but needs alot of work doing to get it to that stage - have to repray under the bonnet first as its still white!

It's hard to do it that way without facilities like Jon And Fil, it gets expensive too. I look forward to progress reports.

I did love the GT feel of running an Auto, but I have to say that the manual is so much more fun, I'd kind of forgotten how much fun til I bought the '44, been enjoying it so much that I now need to sort out the knocking from the o/s front
