A bit of a Back handed compliment but, met up with a mate from work for a lunchtime pint the other day. On the way back there is a short strech of dual cariage way which we had a spirited (within goverment guidelines of course) sprint which involved me hitting it first but leaving it last. He did howerver say he expected to reel me in much quicker. He drives an S2000 Very Happy

It probably took half the dual carriageway for his engine to get its valve timings sorted out Laughing S2000s are fun as long as you keep the revs way up.

Interestingly performance figures for an S2000 put it within a whisker of a 944 S2 despite the S2000 having a horsepower advantage and it would be in real trouble against a turbo.

Sounds like a great afternoon there Gareth Smile

Was the same for me when I was looking at a V6 Cougar, pretty much the exact sme performance figures as a 2.5 944!

The superb aerodynamics (at least when the lights are down) seems to help the 924/944/968 punch well above their horsepower. The 928 doesn't suffer from that problem, of course.

A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related.

This means that the remaining 77% are caused by assholes who just drink coffee,
carbonated drinks, juices, yogurts, and *poo* like that.

Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol. They cause twice as many
Accidents. Made me smile 52658
