new turbo

picked my new turbo up today,drove it the 75 miles home without a hitch,the ebay fotos dont do it justice ,its a gorjus colour,metallic schwartz
its got a service file which looks like the bible ,including a receipt for £1000 for a new turbo
also just had a new back box,im buzzin ,never had a turbo i could drive before

Are you keeping it standard...or....making it into a real sleeper? That colour looks great.....how much power do you want?

My advice is to concentrate on wheels and tyres ASAP. I remember leaving 60 yards of rubber after a Roundabout as the Turbo kicked in. Old fashioned Turbo lag..Nothing....nothing.....nothing.....bloody Hell! Below 2500 revs you will have LESS power than a N/A. But 3000+ it's : It comes in so hard you need good rubber D

it is pretty quick,im not going to alter it in any way,just repair the bits i dont like and keep it pretty standard as its quite a nice looking car.going to fit a boost gauge though ,quite like the idea of watching that go up and down
