Re: My 924S
It's not too bad but looks can be decieving lol.
Obviously someone had it resprayed before I got hold of it. They also forgot to put the decals back
But yeah overall it's decent enough engine is good and pulls hard but like any car that is 23 years old and hasn't seen hardly any use in 8 years it needs work and love!

Re: My 924S
I'll post about my new 924S soon (not sure it will be that soon what with Valentines Day today & off to Scotland next week) but from what I can make out in all the paperwork, it looks like it's only done around 10000 miles in the last 6 years so I know what you mean.

Re: My 924S
To be honest I kinda like it without the Decals I never did see the point in a huge S down the side. Lets be honest people always see these cars in 3 ways......Poor man's porsche, Not a real Porsche (Audi) Or the ones that actually know. So having a silly S down the side of my car isn't really going to change things and since I prefer the look without I shall leave it that way.

Re: My 924S
Nah. I don't like it. Mainly because it looks better than mine!
Nice tidy ride and, as you say, after 23 years its entitled to need a bit of TLC. Looking forward to a full report on yours too Pete.

Looks great from the pics Gav, shouldn't take a massive amount of work to get it running at its best, looks like someone in the past has sent some good money on the car, re-spray new engine parts etc.
keeps the pics and reports coming as Tux says

Re: My 924S
I will try my best although call me a wimp but I'm doing what a lot of us do.......Leaving it all to the weather gets better lol. I haven't got a Garage although working on getting one.
So hopefully when the chill leaves the air a little and I can try and gather some funds after the huge repair costs I have amassed so far I will start fixing all the bits and bobs. I will share all and hopefully some pics as I make progress.
One thing about me is I strive for perfection so this is going to be a looooooong project

Re: My 924S
You will notice that nobody is actually working on the car in Pauls picture. In fact, we have yet to see ant evidence of him working on it at all. Ever!

Re: My 924S
Could have a point in that pic, footsteps go to and from the car with evidence of a snow ball being made as the only work done
