Not really, got one of (don't ask!) my brother in laws spare set for his 996 carrera4.

They're way to big to drive it on normally but will be Ok to get it home til I can find a proper set, all the ones so far are at least 3 hours drive away.

Silly question but can't you use the wheels off your 's' ?

Well its home, just need to find some wheels of my own, was shall we say an "interesting" drive home with 18" 996 wheels on it!

Only wear on the whole interior is the right hand bolster on the drivers side and its not have as bad as it looks in that picture.

Just a quick check over, cam belt and brake pads and off to the MOT shop before Friday.

Oh and that steering wheel will be for sale if anyone wants it

Sound about right , the pressures were checked before setting off either.As a general rule 944's drive and handle better with 16" wheels,17/18 seem to tram line/twitch alot more,although this can be cured by fitting 968 castor mounts.Paul Glad your pleased with the car and it made it home ok !!

Yep very pleased with it, just about to wander outside and start stripping the brakes

Was very twitchy over 70 which isn't that much of a problem really having not looked at the cam belt

Ideally a set of 16" at the end of the day thats what the car was designed to run on.

John would a set of 02 Boxster 16" cup with ET 55/70 work ? 225 front 245 rear?

Yes they would be fine,but asthetically they look better with a 7mm shim/spacer at the front if your fussy .

Thing is unstable with them on or I'd have just kept them and hope he never noticed
