We have a stand and I have passes for everyone. For you boys coming across country I suggest you meet us at the petrol station below which is first one off M6 J36. Take the satnav directions though as it is the wrong way (only about 1/4 mile) for where we will be heading to the show. The show is 10 minutes from there so try and get to the garage for 10.00am.
Not sure how it works for the others going to this show but the garage is about 2 hours from good old J2 of the M5 so we could meet at the usual venue to leave at 8.00am. I will be at the Holiday inn across the road from McDonalds so I don't care how early it is for a change!!
Garage address: Canal Garage, Crooklands, Milnthorpe. LA7 7NX

Know it well from my youth
But yes guys follow your satnav, its off the beaten track and you don't see it from the Motorway, if you don't come off at J36 you've got a 12 mile round trip to get back!!
Great place to convoy from as there's more than enough space to get lined up for the run-in

Come on mate ... every trip I did in the 924 was 6 hours round .... 8 for the national rally when it was up by Stoke. My problems always came form starting it .. once going they rarely stop [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] God Paul (Mav) drove from Newcastle to Birmingham with a torque tube that sounded like a dustbin full of spanners!
BTW ... you have got AA cover haven't you [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

"Don't forget to bring some tools with you everyone.. i will be bringinf along the 'Club' race/track car along on the trailer. there's some work needed to be done.."
Just read the show blurb and due to limited space cars have to be offloaded from trailers and trailers parked in separate area. Is that going to be possible for ours?

Tux is on hols Chris. he will be back late sat eve, he said you can go round early on sun for it. he as the gasebo and the banner as well. don't think we need the cooker as the club that arrange the show sell tea at a very reasonable price. well they did last time.
Re: Cars the star show in Cumbria - 18th July 2010

Got a couple of golfing brolleys [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sounds like this should be a great little show again, and as Rob rightly says the little tea room in Heaves Hall was very reasonable, not bad hotdogs either [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Stan mustn't have saved your mobile number, could you text me or drop me a PM on here with so we can arrange for Sunday

Not a good venue to be without cover [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Hi DC ... I think we can squeeze one more on mate! The only two coming 'down' are from north east so I suspect they will be coming across! Please see the meet details for the services off the M6 so that we can at least tie up there.
Re: Cars the star show in Cumbria - 18th July 2010
Has Tux got all the Gazebos or does Dave still have some? If he does I could pick them up on the way up on Saturday evening?

Great ... if you miss the garage meet for some reason then head for the show address which is only 10 minutes away. It is only a small show site so I suspect we can sneek you in!
