I remember in '89 when they first came out seeing a gleaming red one in the local Vauxhall dealers and think it was the best car I'd ever seen, also remeber thinking that it was the car the Capri could have been but never was.

Never owned one, I bought my first 924 in 2000 instead of a Calibra and still never driven one to this day, even though about one again when I bought my 2nd '24 in '06

That Calibra was the Irmsher DTM model, what a beast it was.
Such a pure pleasure to drive with power that you would not believe.
