steering column rattles when going over pumps.

Hi any one know what it could be and how to fix it.

sure its the steering column? could be roll bar bushes and it feels like the steering. do you get any shake under braking? And which model Porsche do you have?

The info Pete has mentioned is esential, could be one of a few things.

bushes, bearings, track rods (inner or outer or both), UJ on the rack....
