...even after it's been repaired??

At work we share a yard with another building. Around 8 months ago it got turned into a "Damage-Repairable bodyshop" type thing. They started off buying Cat D & C small cars with minimal panel damage (Corsa's with pranged wings, Polo's with mash bumpers...you know the kind of thing), then moved on to storing & repairing cars of Insurance Companies.

Well, one of the guys bought this to repair & keep for himself...

The engine has been pushed back, up about 4 inches at the front & over to the drivers side by about 3 inches.

The cabin is twisted, you can see the state of the chasis rails, the pass. side suspension top mount is kinked & the pass. side wheel has been pushed back around 4 inches, let alone all the other damage.

I know I wouldn't want to drive it!

To be honest there is a lot of work there and don't think you could get it 100% spot on.

I have no doubts that a pro bodyshop could make it safe again. I'd be happy driving it as long as it was inspected and certified etc.
