Re: porsche parts
They told me that rotor arms are no longer made!
If you find to the contrary, can I have the part number etc please?
I ordered some bulb holders and dash bulbs today. Coming all the way from Germany.

No it is centre!
GSF are as good as any for service bits like that. Expect to remortgage your house for the rotor though. Resisted type and comparatively expensive.

Re: porsche parts
Check out what other cars used the same dizzy and rotor, I read somewhere that the 44 S2 uses the same as a Volve 740 turbo - half the price too.
(I am only passing info I read on the PCGB website here so if it's not accurate apologies, but then its on the internetz so must be true.. !)

Re: porsche parts
The 924 2.0ltr rotor and dizzy cap are the same as a Ford Pinto engine 1.6 or 2.0 ltr. available everywhere still. and less than half the price you will pay when you ask for Porsche. infact the dizzy its self is the same. the ford fuel injection relay also works in the 924... pink in a ford black in the porsche but the same bosch part. Most relays on the 924 can be replaced with Ford. The water pump on the 924 is the same as the VW transporter van.
Re: porsche parts
Also most of the fuel injection system is used on Fords replacment parts can be found by looking in scrap yards at fords..
Re: porsche parts
Same sort of thing with the '44, DME relay was the same on the GTE Vauxhalls of the same era.
944 DME £20, I bought 5 for the same price from Astra & Nova GTE's!

Beg your pardon, I thought you'd gone American!
That's the resisted type of rotor that I was referring to. Knew they were expensive.
